Turn off power to the Heating System and allow the system to cool down
Place a container under the Heating System relief valve discharge pipe to catch water
Check the Heating System pressure gauge to see if system pressure is too high
Verify the Heating System expansion tank is functioning properly not waterlogged
Call for professional Heating System service if the relief valve continues to discharge
